My Project

I teach a wonderful group of second-grade bilingual students who are eager to learn and explore every day. Many of my students are English Language Learners, and they thrive in a hands-on, interactive, and structured learning environment. They are curious, creative, and full of energy, and I want to provide them with the best resources to support their academic and social-emotional growth.

This project includes essential materials that will help my students stay engaged, motivated, and excited about learning:

Magnetic Tiles & Building Blocks: These STEM-based toys will allow students to develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork while reinforcing math and engineering concepts through play.

Alphabet and Number Puzzles: These tactile learning tools will support foundational literacy and math skills, making letter and number recognition fun and interactive.

Fidget and Sensory Toys: The party favors, squishy toys, putty slime, and treasure box prizes will serve as positive reinforcements and sensory tools for students who need help focusing and self-regulating their emotions.

Classroom Rewards & Engagement: These fun incentives will encourage students to stay on task, participate actively, and build a sense of community within our classroom.

Goals for This Project:

Enhance learning with engaging, hands-on materials that build foundational literacy and math skills.

Provide sensory tools to support focus, emotional regulation, and motivation.

Foster creativity and problem-solving through STEM-based building activities.

Create a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged and rewarded for their hard work.

My students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique strengths and perspectives to our classroom. They work hard every day to develop their skills, and I want to ensure they have the resources they need to succeed. With these tools, they will have more opportunities to learn through play, collaboration, and exploration.
