This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today’s fast-paced world, many students face anxiety and stress that can hinder their ability to focus and learn. This project aims to create calming spaces in the classroom, providing students with a safe, soothing environment to relax and refocus. With a variety of items—such as soft lighting, tactile sensory toys, calming music, and comfortable seating—we can support different learning modalities and offer students the tools they need to manage their emotions. By promoting mindfulness and emotional well-being, we help students build resilience and improve their academic success. Your support will create a space for all learners to thrive.
