This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help our students gain the supplies to make bracelets for our after-school clubs. We are forming a friendship bracelet club after school to give our students a safe place in the evening when parents are still at work. We want our students to bond together and form relationships that are positive and nurturing in the mental health area. These supplies of different style beads will allow us to meet for 8 weeks with students while they discuss and bond over making friendship bracelets together. We hope to bring our community together.
