My Project

This school year my 6th grade class is 70% male! We have a serious need for some new titles that connect with this population.

Our boys are looking for books that reflect their own experiences and lives.

I have chosen books that are part of a series because they allow the boys to get hooked on a character and plot. This will build momentum for our learners and create life long readers.

We devote 15 minutes every day for learners to read texts of their own choosing. This is so important for our learners so that they can have investment in their own learning experiences.
