This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school’s boys basketball team has come up short two years in a row. The players missed making the playoffs by 1 game in back to back seasons. This year we have a whole new team. While the students are very excited to learn the game and represent their school, we lack some important resources. This year we plan to practice months earlier than previous years- The tools we receive will reignite the students excitement. In addition, the donations will be used for other students that want to learn the game through the after school program.
