My Students

As supporters of lifelong learning, our preschool and pre-kindergarten staff serve three- to five-year-old children on the west side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Many of our families live in poverty and 59% of our children receive special education services. Our children come from a variety of incomes, cultures, family units, and have special needs. As our children return to in-person education, there are healthy protocols that need to be in place to keep our children safe.

One way to keep our preschoolers safe is making sure they all have individual containers of basic supplies.

Each child will have a container of basic supplies such as scissors, glue sticks, and other essential tools for learning. I am requesting donations so we can provide these individual containers for our students.

My Project

As our 3-, 4,- and 5-year-olds return to in-person learning, there are safe/healthy procedures needing to be in place to keep our children safe. Over half of our children have special needs so we are enrolling children throughout the school year.

One way to keep our preschoolers safe is making sure we have individual containers to hold basic supplies for each child.

These containers will contain scissors, glue sticks, markers, and other learning tools. I am requesting donations so we can provide each child with his/her own container, which will help prevent spreading germs in their classroom.
