Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Bowling is a great activity for all ages. Bowling balls and pins will help create a meaningful and manageable activity that can be played throughout the school year for PS28 students in grades kindergarten through grade 5.

PS28's elementary school student-athletes will be able to exercise their bodies and their math skills by learning the intricate bowling scoring system.

Students-athletes in PS28's anticipated after school bowling club will be incentivized to learn how to keep score with planned bowling alley field trips. We hope to build and develop a bowling team that can travel and compete with other schools.
