My Students

My students LOVE to read. They constantly are looking through their books search for the next great story!

I have 12 special needs 4th and 5th graders in my class.

My students are in a self-contained classroom due to their specific learning needs. They are motivated learners who are curious about the world and I want to be able to provide the resources for them to do so.

My Project

Adding these books to my classroom library will help open new doors for my students into the vast world around them. Additionally these books will help them reach the common core goals and college readiness that is expected of all children. They will be able to use these books during small group time with the teacher, partner reading, and independent reading time. Having these new books will keep my students engaged which will only further their love for reading!

This will help to further their literacy skills, develop new ideas about the world and develop a life long love for reading and learning about the world around them!
