My Students

The students I teach are active 8 year olds in 3rd grade. Each student has a unique way of learning. Some students are diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, SPD, and LD. In order to meet each student's needs, I have implemented flexible seating into the classroom. All of my students enjoy the flexible seating options. The students are responsible for understanding how they learn and which seats support their learning. Students and parents are both fond of the unusual seating options available in my classroom.

My Project

Many of my students face challenges with sustaining concentration, focus and attention needed to complete schoolwork. Thus, I have implemented flexible seating into my classroom to help meet my students' diverse learning needs.

The bouncy ball seats will promote movement while the students complete tasks at their desks.

The movement will help increase focus and attention needed to complete daily classwork. The bouncy seats will also be able to be easily moved to form groups for literature circles and center work.

Through the generous donations from DonorChoose.org donators, I am hoping to increase the potential in all of my students!
