My Project

My first-grade students are energetic and eager learners who benefit from incorporating movement into their daily routines. A trampoline would provide an exciting and effective way for students to take sensory breaks, burn off energy, and return to their learning with increased focus and calmness. By adding this resource to our classroom, students will have a designated space to jump, stretch, and engage in physical activity, which is essential for their overall well-being and success in the classroom.

Many of my students find it challenging to sit still for long periods, and they thrive when given opportunities to move throughout the day.

The trampoline will help them regulate their energy levels, reduce restlessness, and improve attention during lessons. It will also support students who need additional sensory input to stay calm and focused. This simple yet powerful tool will make a huge difference in my students’ ability to self-regulate, leading to a more productive and positive learning environment.

In our classroom, we value the importance of movement in supporting cognitive development, creativity, and emotional health. The trampoline will provide an outlet for physical activity that supports the whole child, ensuring they are ready to learn and succeed. By donating to this project, you will help create an environment where students feel empowered to take charge of their own learning through movement and sensory regulation.
