Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of multilingual and special education students who bring energy, curiosity, and resilience to the classroom every day. My students learn best when they are engaged in movement and hands-on activities that support their sensory and motor needs.

A trampoline will provide much-needed movement breaks to help my students regulate their energy, improve focus, and stay engaged in learning.

Many of my students struggle with attention and self-regulation, and having a structured way to release energy will allow them to return to academic tasks with greater focus and success.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment that supports all learners by incorporating movement as a tool for learning. This trampoline will be an essential part of our daily routine, giving my students the sensory input they need to thrive academically and socially.

What makes my students special is their perseverance and enthusiasm for learning despite the challenges they face. With the right resources, they can continue to grow, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
