This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how my students bring energy, curiosity, and resilience to every lesson. As multilingual and special education learners, they thrive when they have the opportunity to move and engage with their environment. Many of my students struggle with sitting still for long periods, which can affect their focus and learning.

The bouncy bands and wiggle wobble chair feet will provide my students with the sensory movement they need to stay engaged and regulate their energy throughout the day.

These resources will allow them to fidget and move in a controlled way, reducing restlessness and improving their ability to concentrate on tasks.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment where movement supports learning rather than hindering it. These tools will help my students stay focused, calm, and ready to learn by giving them the chance to meet their sensory needs while still participating in lessons.

What makes my students special is their resilience and determination to succeed, even when faced with challenges. With the right resources, they can continue to grow, focus, and reach their full potential. These movement tools will play a key role in their success!
