My Project

Hello, I am seeking support to provide headsets with microphones to my special education English Language Arts (ELA) students at RMM, a Title 1 school committed to equitable learning. My students encounter barriers with traditional reading and writing, impacting their curriculum engagement and academic progress. These headsets will offer an alternative way to access educational content and express understanding, notably through audio content like audiobooks, educational podcasts, and speech, enhancing comprehension and participation.

Moreover, these devices are crucial for advancing STEM education among our special education students.

They will facilitate access to complex concepts and participation in interactive STEM activities through audio and speech-to-text features, areas where our students have been underrepresented. This initiative supports individual academic success and promotes a more inclusive and technologically proficient learning environment, preparing students for future opportunities in the digital age.

I am excited to explore funding to bring this project to fruition, and I am confident that your support can significantly impact my students' educational journey. Thank you for considering my project.
