My Project

In retrospect, COVID-19 has negatively impacted my students. Specifically, students have regressed in Math, Reading and Writing. In Math, my students have challenges with complex, multi-step problems. In reading and writing, my students convey challenges with critical thinking skills, citing textual evidence and explaining why and how cited evidence supports a claim or idea. The requested resources will make learning more enjoyable and fun. To decrease boredom, students will be more engaged to finish their work and be engaged in learning. Engagement will be facilitated through positive reinforcement and reward strategies directly associated with gaming (Nintendo Switch). Gaming will not only augment student engagement and learning, but will also improve attitude and foster a positive outlook on education. I believe that the requested resources will positively influence students to enjoy attending class on a daily basis.
