Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an Algebra 2 teacher, I want to ensure every student has access to the resources they need to succeed in this required course for graduation. To support their learning, I am requesting an iPad and Apple Pencil Pro. With these tools, I can create digital, color-coded, and neatly organized math notes that will help my students better understand complex algebra concepts.

These notes will be uploaded online, allowing students to access and review lessons at home after school.

This flexibility will give them the opportunity to revisit key concepts when completing homework, ensuring they have the support they need, even outside of class time. It really helps absent students catch up on missed assignments when they have access to online notes.

The iPad , Apple Pencil and keyboard will also allow me to draw graphs, annotate problems, and provide interactive explanations that are more engaging and effective than traditional paper notes or whiteboard teaching. This approach will help students grasp difficult material in a visual and structured format, making Algebra 2 more accessible.

Donating to this project will directly benefit my students by providing them with a valuable tool to help them succeed in Algebra 2, which is critical for their high school graduation.
