My Project

My goal for this project is to cultivate an environment that feels warm, safe, and welcoming, while fostering a fun and creative space for my students to learn and grow. One of our primary objectives this school year is to increase attendance, and one effective strategy is providing snacks for students who are hungry. These snacks will help sustain their energy levels, ensuring they have the necessary nutrients to support their physical and mental development.

Snacks like graham crackers, chips, Cheez-Its, juice, and Gatorade can provide essential energy and hydration to help scholars stay focused and engaged throughout the learning day.

These snacks offer a quick source of carbohydrates, proteins, and electrolytes that can support brain function, boost concentration, and maintain energy levels. By keeping students fueled and hydrated, they are better equipped to participate in lessons, stay motivated, and maintain their overall well-being, leading to a more productive and enjoyable school experience.

Motivation plays a crucial role in student engagement and learning. Before enjoying their snacks, students will use them in interactive math activities. Incorporating snacks into these activities not only makes learning more enjoyable, but also encourages collaboration—students are more eager to work together when they know their efforts will lead to a rewarding snack!
