Help me give my students more one on one experiences with instruments, starting at a pre-school age!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Riley's classroom raised $269
This project is fully funded
My Project
Please help me fund my project to provide boomwhackers for my elementary music classroom! Having additional boomwhackers in my classroom will give students more opportunities to have one-on-one experiences with instruments, starting at a very young age.
Currently, I do not have enough boomwhackers for each student to have their own set, which requires a lot of sharing and rotating.
Instead of spending the time sharing and waiting for turns, I would like to have more time spent with students playing. More playing equals more learning. This is the goal of my project.
My students are special because almost all of them come from economically disadvantaged households and almost all musical experiences these students have come from the school. My goal is to have that musical education be an excellent one.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
