it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hi everyone, I am a bilingual ASHA-certified school-based SLP in Bronx NY. In our school, we serve a unique and multicultural population. I work with children from Pre-K through second grade who present a range of deficits especially in reading, literacy and language.
Many of my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.
However, I believe that with the right tools and support they can progress and become lifelong learners especially during this hard time.
My Project
My students will be better equipped and able to work on their reading, literacy and language skills if I can provide them with the proper tools. Incorporating these fun materials into practice and exposing my students to the use of different technologies while working towards their goals will help them develop the necessary skills to succeed in school.
The use of online therapy with the proper materials can aid in the efficiency of treatment of reading and speech and language disorders by keeping the attention and motivation of the students.
It will encourage students to participate and learn in a more fun way!
My students need a lot of support, including a specialized target tools to help catch their attention and participation. This tool not only will help students improve reading and language skills but will also provide them with an early literacy foundation that encourages successful development of reading skills.
