My Students

I have the opportunity to work with students Pre-k through fifth grade, with speech and language differences. I love watching them develop their speech and language skills to their fullest potential, whether it is face-to-face or in a remote setting, as we are now due to distance learning.

Speech-language therapy provided during distance learning has quickly changed the materials I use with my students to keep their attention and engagement during their sessions over Zoom while addressing their speech goals.

I am specifically looking for new resources that can be used virtually AND when we go back to "in person" school to target their specific receptive and expressive language delays, auditory skills, social language needs, and build articulation skills.

My Project

Whether providing speech and language therapy services face-to-face or remotely, the opportunity to use a variety of different therapy materials and tools to expand on student speech and language skills in an engaging manner is extremely important.

With the wide variety of speech and language materials available on Teachers Pay Teachers that target articulation, language (receptive and expressive), and social skills, I will be able to offer my students therapy sessions that keep their interest.

Speech and language skills are critical for all students in an educational (or home) setting. Funds from Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to search for and provide activities that spark student interest. They will also target each student's individual and unique learning needs while offering them a variety of activities to keep them excited and engaged with their own speech and language development!
