My Project

In our classroom, all students have multi-disabilities and are functioning below their peers. They face significant challenges with speech, language, and social-emotional skills, making playtime crucial for their development. However, many of our toys are outdated, missing, or broken, which hinders our ability to effectively support their developmental needs through play. Additionally, the broken pieces of toys present safety hazards, which is a serious concern for our students.

In addition to playtime, I offer opportunities for drawing and writing.

These activities are beneficial for children with learning disabilities as they foster creativity and help improve analytical skills like recognizing contrast, boundaries, and shapes. Over time, these activities contribute to enhanced memory, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

To better support our students' growth and ensure a safe and productive learning environment for the 2024-2025 school year, we urgently need new toys, art supplies, and cleaning materials. Your support in providing these essential resources would make a significant difference in our students' educational experience.
