Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students enrolled in this middle school are bright, eager, and curious scholars with a desire for learning. Most of these students will be first-generation college students: they know and understand that education is the key to success.

The books in the library should be in decent condition, contain accurate information, and be relevant and engaging.

Though these students live in a poverty-stricken community, their lives are filled with a wealth of resiliency, persistence, and determination. These students deserve to have a library that is a safe, inviting, comfortable space where they can come to read, work independently, or in groups.

My Project

These books about superheroes will be a great addition to our library as they help promote reading for pleasure. The books in this project feature classic superheroes from DC and Marvel, but there are also quirky characters and stories such as that of Andrew Beam in "Sidekicked The traditional and new stories are sure to delight readers who might be on the hunt for books filled with action and adventure.

Books with superheroes are an engaging way to capture students' attention as they embark on different journeys lead by brave and unique characters.

Students will surely enjoy reading all of these books!
