Books With Bliss

Help me give my students an opportunity to explore books. We have started a program called Books with Bliss, where students are able to explore the love of reading while developing self-help skills through the Attitude is Altitude program.

My Project

Our school has started a club called Books with Bliss. The students are able to explore the love of reading while diving into self-help, self-care, and self-awareness utilizing the program attitude is altitude. The students have generated a safe space where they can explore how to use what they read in real life situations. They work together to solve social problems that they experience every day. Their journey has helped them become stronger people for each other and society. As an educator, my role is the guide, the students into developing social skills, through open conversation about topics, such as self-care, grit, goal setting , mental health, and physical health.

Ms. Serrette Renaissance Charter School - Wellington Grades 6-8

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
