My Students

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.

I am dedicated to my students.

It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.

Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.

My Project

For this project I am asking for the rest of the Eerie Elementary book series. I have the first four books of this series in my classroom and my students are IN LOVE with this book series. When they heard there were six more books in this series, they were ecstatic! I read a few chapters from these books aloud each day. They are hooked and are so sad when I tell them we have to stop. I am also asking for several holiday books. All of the books in this project trigger their imaginations and get them interested in reading - this is truly priceless. Books train their imaginations to think big!
