Help me give my students books that tie in with what they are learning in school and interested in. Non-fiction books on facts, fish, dirt bikes, YouTube, and Minecraft will trick even the toughest "non-reader" into reading.

My Students
Our middle school students are from urban, rural, and suburban areas. On the first day I walked in the building as a substitute teacher many years ago, I saw a sign about the doors that said, "The greatest students in the world go to school here." Several minutes later as I tried to make my way around the building a student asked me if she could escort me to the correct classroom. In the years since that day, I have continued to believe that all of our students are the best and they deserve the best.
Thank you for giving our students the chance to be the best with your generous donations.
I know with your help and support our students can continue to learn and thrive.
My Project
I have some students this year who are pretty resistant to reading. However, these students love to talk about topics such as fish, bikes, games, and making videos. I hope that this collection of books will encourage these students to give reading another try. For the students who like fiction, I think that the Dogman series and Five Nights at Freddy's might be the books to interest the other students. I also included a few books that tie in with our curriculum like Frederick Douglass and Lowry's The Giver quartet. If all else fails, the Ripley's and Guinness Book of World Records will interest even the most tough to motivate readers! I hope that students will find these books so amazing that they can't put them down!
