My Project

My students have access to tons of books in school but aren't always able to take books home to continue reading. Kids reading at or below benchmark especially need to continue practicing reading at home.

I believe that being able to bring books back and forth to school builds responsibility, develops a love for reading, and helps create confident, avid readers.

This project has new, current titles for some of my 2nd graders. It also has bags to bring the books back and forth safely and securely. I'm so excited to share these new books with my students.
