My Project

It is my pleasure to provide speech-language services to elementary aged students in East New York, Brooklyn. My students are between the ages of 5-10 and they each demonstrate challenges in one or more of the following areas: phonological awareness, reading comprehension, and social-emotional skills. My goal is to help my students communicate their wants and needs and how to appropriately respond to social situations. This will help them build foundational skills that they can apply across their day-to-day task. To help prepare us for this coming school year, we are asking for books to help our students build their vocabulary and also learn how to respond to difficult social situations.
