My Project
At the beginning of the school year, I made an effort to have available to my class grade-appropriate reading materials. Unfortunately once class began I quickly came to realize that this school year was going to look different in that many third-grade students are at a read-to-me/ kindergarten reading level. This year's third-grade class lost the most during the COVID-19 pandemic and we continue to see the results of virtual learning/learning loss.
These DonorsChoose consists of books that match the students within my class for this school year- Pre-K, and Kindergarten level books.
These will be utilized in class during reading lessons, as well as sent home with students for reading practice homework.
