My Students

I teach a small rural school that is well known for how its students excel. A lot of my students were already reading fluently at the end of kindergarten and because of this, I am working to find all of the materials to best suit them in first grade.

My Project

With your help, I will be able to encourage my students to read on their level while growing to love books. It is very important to me as a teacher to have a variety of books in both different reading levels and different interests to ensure that my students can always find something entertaining to read. They will be able to excel best in their reading abilities by living what they read; this is why it is imperative to have a wide variety of choices every time a student goes to my bookshelves.
