Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I grow to know my students better, I noticed that my library does not offer them literature that match their interests and passions. In an effort to get my students excited about reading, I've decided to take the time and think about who my students are and what they want to read about. The result is the list of requested titles.

My students are new reader and deserve to feel excited about what they are reading.

Second grade can be an impactful years for students and their relationship with reading. My goal is to make their first experiences with literature as positive as possible.
