Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The range of our resources needed in class are getting wider than before to close the achievement gap. As we live our lives in the pandemic challenges arise. We need to close the achievement gap, in particular in reading. The wide range of levels today in a single classroom are unheard of.

Thus we need resources like leveled readers so that students can read independently on their own like their peers, but at the same time work on the critical thinking skills needed to read.

The leveled readers will help my students work on skills and concepts in books that they will be able to read on their own.
