My Project
I am teaching kindergarten again after 8 years in first grade. We will be utilizing a new reading curriculum. The books I have requested will be used in both whole-class and small-group settings to teach foundational reading skills.
My students come from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds. Many are new to this country and their parents have little money for books and materials. Putting these new books in their hands will excite my students as readers and help ease the financial burdens of their families. By laminating the materials that each student uses, I can supply materials that last and can be used over and over again.
I appreciate any donation that you can make. My students will benefit greatly from the funding of this project!
