My Project

These books will teach my students about different concepts, from cultures and traditions, to different musical genres. My students love getting to read in music class and learning about musical people and topics.

These books are fun, educational, and musical!

We will use them in music class together, in groups, and on our own. Each book will teach my students something new and foster compassion and kindness in my students.

I am especially excited about the books that teach about different musical genres, such as pop, rock, country, rap, and musical theater. Students will read about these genres, listen, and sing along! These books will add so much to our music classroom! I am also excited about the books that will represent different cultures, such as Indigenous Peoples and African Americans. They will educate my students on cultures different from their own that they may not be familiar with. We need more books like these!
