My Project
I am requesting a book vending machine for our school. The vending machine will be used as a school-wide incentive. Students earn a gold coin for positive behaviors as part of our PBIS program. The coin will allow them to pick one book from the vending machine. Students will be able to keep the book and add it to their personal library at home, encouraging the love of reading and providing resources for parents and families to read to their children.
The vending machine will be filled with chapter books, picture books, and easy readers.
We will share, celebrate, and encourage our scholars to continue on their journey of reading. Books can help us to travel to new places that we have never been to. I hope this project will encourage positive classroom participation, and engagement, and instill a love of reading in all our students.
