My Project

I am building a library that allows our students to learn about themselves, their community, and unique details that make them special. These books will allow students to discuss real world issues and reflect on their feelings regarding racial topics.

I want my students to be able to see themselves in the books we read and empower them to feel courageous and capable.

Having a diverse library will allow students to feel safe and confident and assist in facilitating conversations regarding race and other issues our students face on a daily basis.
