Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th graders are part of a dual-language school that prides itself on empowering our students to embrace, strengthen, and be proud of their bilingual skills. Bilingualism is a school value that we celebrate with our students on a daily basis. As a literacy teacher, I aim to make my students passionate about reading in TWO languages. It is much harder to find books in Spanish. Please help me fill my class library with wonderful books to inspire and excite my students to read in the language of their ancestors.
