This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need books in Spanish to help nurture a love of reading in our young learners. Although most of our student population speaks Spanish, the majority of the books in our school library are in English.

One of the main goals of our School Library is to acquire great titles in Spanish for our collection.

It is important for us to provide quality, engaging literature not just in English, but also in the native language of so many members of our school community. Instilling a love of reading early on will set our students up for a lifetime of possibilities!
