Attention! Amazing students, with a passion for learning and a thirst for knowledge! My students face many challenges but they love learning, listening, and reading about their world. Our school prides ourselves on being a learning community for all and a place where all children can reach their potential. This is a classroom where all students are celebrated and a place where everyone can be safe to express who they are. This is a classroom where questions are encouraged and knowledge is power. This is a classroom where we celebrate our successes and learn from our mistakes. This is a classroom with so much to give to the world!
My Project
I want to be able to have a quality set of headphones in the classroom for my students to use. Often they are coming to school with headphones that break easily or they come without a pair at all.
I would also like to continue to expand our diverse classroom library.
There are so many books that continue to come out and I want to have them ready for their hands to grab and gobble up!
These books and headphones will make a difference because reading is key to a child's success. I also want them to be able to access books in different ways and headphones will help provide this access.
