This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am trying to build and update my class library.

The majority of the books are old or formality part of a reading test set.

Imagine only learning to read and the only books available to practice with are out dated and boring. I would like to have more books of interest for my wonderful kindergarteners so that they wIll learn to love reading as they learn to read.

The class is an ICT class. 9 of the students have diagnosis and need extra help. If we were to get a collection of high interest books they will continue to thrive.
