it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are some of the most resilient, strong and optimistic people I have ever met. Like myself, many of my students learn better when they can engage in activities, games, and interesting literature.

My Project
Many items being requested promote and align with the Nevada Academic Content Standards.
The items that are being requested can be tied to the following standards:
Personal Health: (5)1.1, Social Studies SS.5.2, Math: 5.NBT.B.7, Reading RL.5.10 and so much more.
These COVID related needs will address their Social Emotional Learning, flexible seating options, increasing grade level text and choice with literature, increase awareness of the world we live in and be able to understand and apply mathematical practices. In our ever changing world, it is vital we give our students ample opportunities to grow and learn.
