A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students need access to books that interest them in order to become engaged readers. Unfortunately, my school library does not have a robust collection of books that hold my students interest.
My students need high interest, engaging books in Spanish in order to become hooked and eventually become life long readers.
My classroom library must give students options. Students who read books that interest them, read because they choose to read not because it is part of an assignment.
Help me offer my students a variety of books that will lure them into the magical world of books and will enable them to acquire Spanish. According Dr. Stephen Krashen, American Linguist, reading is the single most effective way to help students acquire a foreign language, learn vocabulary and learn grammar.
