My Project

In my project I am asking for a set of decodable books. These book sets are designed for beginning readers. The books are short and engaging and provide practice with early phonics skills. The books will allow even the earliest readers to apply the phonics they know to read successfully.

It is very important to have enough books in every classroom for kids to read independently.

This classroom set contains 300 books (10 copies each of 30 titles). I will be able to use them in small groups and add them to the classroom library so the students can practice reading on their own.
