My Project

Books for Spring Break! My students love the library, they love to come to get the latest new book. The students at my school do not have books at home and are in great need of the resources that the library provides. The students love when we have monthly grade level reading challenges to read the most books.

Especially my 2nd-grade classes, every other day they are coming to the library asking for new books.

They are rocking their reading challenges each month. One class of 16 students read 88 books in one week. I do not want the students to lose this excitement, but they need books at home! I had one student that told me that he could not read at home because he did not have any books. Resources and money should not be a reason why I students do not have access to books.

We need these books to create better readers for today and better-prepared leaders of tomorrow.

I want to provide books that students can relate to and enjoy with their families over the Spring Break Holiday!
