My Students

Connecting with a book is such an important moment in a child's life. Sometimes it's the only way they can connect their real-life situation without feeling inferior or feeling like they have to tell someone.

My students come from different ethnic and economic backgrounds.

They come together to a place where they feel welcomed and feel that they are a part of a community. My gifted students all share a common goal of academic excellence. They are fun, loving, caring, and most of all eager to learn.

My Project

Adding new and interesting books to our library will motivate my students to read, read, and read! With your donation, my classroom library will offer a wide selection of literature genres. I have chosen books that students can personally relate to and grow with. I have chosen books that are up to date and are written with their age group in mind. I have also chosen books that will help me, as their teacher, strengthen their reading comprehension.
