My Project

My ELL students will complete a research project and presentation for a holiday from around the world. These books will help provide my students with needed resources to complete their research. Students will read, research, design, and write a digital or poster presentation to present orally to the class.

My goals for this project are for students to gain background knowledge of a culture other than their own, to learn ways to gather and present research, and to become comfortable presenting orally to the class.

My ELL students are special because they work so hard to succeed and overcome many language and cultural barriers along the way. These resources will help them become better readers, writers, speakers, and listeners.
