My Project

The books I am requesting will be used to update our classroom library. Most of our current books were left over from a previous class. These books are outdated and more suited for older students.

My students would enjoy having a well-stocked library filled with books that honor their identities and experiences.

Reading about characters who look like them, or have similar family structures will inspire my students to read more. They would also enjoy reading about the experiences of others.

Some of the books I am requesting for our classroom library are : the Dyamonde Daniel book series; The Food Group book series; and J.D. the Kid Barber book series.
