My Students

My classroom is full of exceptional and curious readers! My students love when we pull out a good book to read for Literature. The students in my class are all becoming proficient readers in their own time and at their own ability levels. I am honored to be their teacher and inspired by each and every one of them!

My Project

My First Grade students spent most of their Pre-K year at home during the pandemic, and last year we were very limited on the books that could be sent home with students, especially those students that had to quarantine due to COVID or did at-home learning all year. So many opportunities for at-home reading were lost as well as experiences in the classroom due to their limited access to new reading material. These books will allow students to each take home their own copy of books that will expand their learning in our Literature, History and Science units! My students will not only develop their reading skills through these fantastic books, but will also nurture their hunger for knowledge and develop a love for learning!
