Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I want to give my students engaging books for them to read! All of these titles have been specifically requested by my students.

I desperately want them to read contemporary literary fiction and non-fiction.

Some of these titles have come from my students' own personal interests, some have been inspired by my lessons. No matter what, my students are interested in reading and want books, and thus, I want to oblige them.

With your donation, I can fill my classroom library with some awesome, diverse books that will get my students reading and appreciating art on many levels.
