My Project

Reading is not only a fundamental skill needed for the furthering of society, it can also be an enjoyable past time, taking us to exotic worlds. With so many different distractions in the world, there is much that pulls our students attention away from reading. My biggest goal as an English teacher is to help foster the love of reading, no matter what genre the student finds that love in. I always let my students take my books home and read. Students in my class don't have to fight the lines at the library or pay for materials themselves.

I want to give my students every opportunity to find a book they can connect with.
