My Students

My students are the most resilient kids I have ever met. As a special educator it is imperative that we provide our students with the best materials possible to lead them towards success. I truly believe that the world needs all kinds of minds, and instilling this in my students is my top priority.

I teach business math to 12th graders at our school, this is a really important class to the students because they learn financially literacy skills which are imperative to success.

I want to ensure they have the best tools to learn and keep track of finances as well as make financially sound choices.

My Project

Literacy is one of the most important aspects in being a successful person. Literacy of finances is equally as important. These books are resources that will support my students in their journey to becoming financially literate as well as support me in giving them the most robust information possible.

Financial literacy is a topic that is so crucial and yet so seldom understood.

The knowledge in these books will help my students wrap their heads around the topics we are covering and empower them to learn and utilize their knowledge to lead them to success.

Ms. Welch Mastery Charter School - Lenfest Grades 9-12
