Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal is to provide my 9th-grade students at low-income schools with access to a diverse selection of books. This project will enable students to connect with characters that may have their own lives and introduce them to different perspectives, fostering empathy, and cultural awareness.

My students are resilient, creative, and eager to learn despite any challenges they may face.

They come from diverse backgrounds that enrich our classroom discussions and foster a sense of community by investing in their education through this project. We can empower them to reach their full potential and inspire them to become lifelong learners and leaders in their community.
